Bocaire Country Club Raises $35K for Wounded Warrior Project
68 Golfers Participated in 2nd Annual Tournament

(Boca Raton, FL – March 30, 2014) Bocaire Country Club, a boutique-sized country club noted for its 300 acres of beautiful fairways, lakes and landscaped vistas, recently hosted its second annual golf tournament fund-raiser on behalf of the Wounded Warriors Project, which “honors and empowers the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.”

Sixty-eight golfers participated in the February 23rd event that honored all of Bocaire’s brave veterans. Activities included a four-person scramble tournament on the 18-hole, Joe Lee-designed golf course, followed by a presentation in the newly renovated clubhouse.  Guest speaker for the event was Eric Millette from Wounded Warriors, and opera singer Josephine Dolce musically opened and closed the event.

“This event was a great success,” said Bocaire’s Chief Executive Officer Russell Carlson. “We find it extremely important to support our troops and to celebrate the sacrifices they make on behalf of freedom and liberty.”
